Three-day Career Fair in Aroostook County
High school students from across the county are exploring their future opportunities at the 4th Annual College, Career, and Military Fair.
The event, held at Presque Isle High School, features over 60 vendors, including local businesses, colleges, and military representatives from all branches.
“Throughout the course of today, we are probably going to have about 600 students come through. I also reached out to our homeschool community to come and take advantage of this because a lot of times these opportunities aren’t at your fingertips like this,”
says Theresa Bonner, director of guidance at MSAD1. The fair aims to reach students throughout the county, with neighboring community schools invited.
Vendors appreciate the event as it allows them to connect directly with the next generation of Maine’s workforce.
