A walk for a good cause took place at the Bangor Waterfront on Saturday, October 11. The event brought hundreds of people together to support one another and raise funds to end Alzheimer's disease.
Coming in to support the Walk To End Alzheimer's means so much
said Pam McClung, Director of Admissions at the Westgate Center and a board member of the walk. The event included a Promise Garden ceremony and a 2.2-mile walk where people carried flowers of various colors, each representing their personal connection to the disease.

said Kris Baker, Development Manager for Maine's Alzheimer's Association. The event showcased significant progress in the fight against Alzheimer's.
