Deer Lakes School Board Candidates
Voters in the Deer Lakes School District have five candidates to choose from for four open seats this November.
- Jeremy Love, 49, incumbent
- Kristi Minnick, 55, incumbent
- Darlene Lutty, 55, newcomer
- Jonathan Majernik, 46, incumbent
- Dominic Distilo, 44, newcomer
The candidates' top concern is bolstering finances. Minnick, who has served on the board for eight years, emphasized fiscal responsibility.
"In my eight years on the board, we've raised taxes only twice — maintaining strong financial health while meeting student and staff needs,"
