Property Tax Increase Proposed in Whitfield County
The Whitfield County Board of Commissioners has announced a proposed property tax increase of roughly 23 percent higher than the rollback millage rate.
According to the commissioners, the adopted budget requires this increase, as the rollback millage rate would not yield enough revenue.
