An elementary school in Rockwood was closed on Friday due to an early morning U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation at a nearby apartment complex.
Residents of the Carrington Square apartment complex reported that law enforcement arrived around 6 a.m. and served a search warrant in the area, stating that they were conducting an investigation related to guns and drugs.

State Rep. Ricki Ruiz, D-Gresham, confirmed the closure of Rockwood Preparatory School on social media, stating that
witnesses reported over 10 vehicles arriving and targeting two individuals.
