Roseville residents will be asked to vote on a 10-year Roseville Public Library millage renewal proposal in the November 4 election.
The current 10-year millage will expire on December 31, and residents have been paying it for the last 10 years. The renewal, which is not a new tax, will begin on January 1, 2026, if approved by voters.
According to the ballot language provided by the Macomb County Clerk/Register of Deeds, if the renewal passes, the city will be authorized to levy annually an amount not to exceed 0.4622 mill ($0.4622 per $1,000 of taxable value).
Residents are encouraged to review the proposal and make an informed decision on voting day.
