Draper Businesses Await Reopening After Emergency Sewer Repairs
Officials announced that the Jordan Basin Improvement District completed sewer line repairs, allowing affected businesses to resume normal operations.
Several businesses in Draper were asked to close due to a sewer line issue near 12200 South State Street. The Salt Lake County Health Department required businesses in the Draper Peaks shopping center to either temporarily close or restrict access to their restrooms.
No homes were affected by the sewer line blockage. The repair timelines were initially unknown, but officials reported completion of the repairs just before 9 p.m.
