Justice Department Scrutinizes Trump 'Enemy' Fani Willis' Training Trip In The Bahamas
Federal investigators are scrutinizing a trip Fani Willis, the Fulton County, Georgia, district attorney, took to the Bahamas.
In 2023, a grand jury in Georgia indicted Trump and his 18 allies over their attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. Willis brought the case against Trump, accusing him of orchestrating a
"criminal enterprise".
However, a state appeals court disqualified Willis from overseeing the case after it came to light that she shared a personal relationship with the lawyer she hired, Nathan Wade.
In November 2024, Willis took a trip to the Bahamas with some colleagues following her re-election to a second term.
