Ditch That Smartphone, Get Out, Get A Life

Life has been demanding in the second decade of my marriage, and my husband and I have barely managed to accommodate our traditional 'date nights'.
We do get out often, for groceries, doctors' appointments, children's school functions, and even memorable family holidays, but strictly romantic occasions rarely materialize.
Recently, we found some time for couples-time and went to watch a movie, but unfortunately, the only show available was "The Materialists".
I feel obligated to warn my readers to stay away from this snoozefest, rendered more ridiculous by its somnambulating lead, Dakota Johnson.
