Bravo Bakeshop, owned by Liz Dillon, has opened a coffee shop and bakery in the Diamond Plaza building in Ashland, after a year and a half of pop-ups and wholesale business development.
The European-style bakery, located at 278 N. Washington Highway, offers an expanded menu with coffee and more baked goods, allowing customers to gather and enjoy their purchases.
“There wasn’t a place to gather. We didn’t get to see our customers sit down and enjoy what they’re purchasing,”
Dillon said, expressing her excitement about the new physical cafe. The shop's opening is the culmination of years of planning, with Dillon having attended culinary school about a decade ago with the dream of opening a bakery.
