Misconduct Complaint Against Supervisor Bushnell
Humboldt County Second District Supervisor and Board Chair Michelle Bushnell has hired a private attorney to challenge the county's investigation process following a misconduct complaint.
“When you have a complaint filed [against you] and you don’t agree with one of the findings, there’s no process to say, ‘That’s not what happened,’”
Bushnell believes her due process rights were violated during the investigation and that the county's established process for investigating misconduct allegations is flawed.
