Road Reconstruction near Maxville Nears Completion
Reconstruction of County Road 22 near Maxville is nearing completion, according to the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry (SD & G).
A report from the Transportation Services Department presented to the SD & G counties council on October 20 indicates significant progress was made throughout the late summer and into the fall.
The remaining work is expected to be completed by the end of October, despite minor delays due to weather and unexpected soil conditions, resulting in a cost overrun of approximately $690,000.
