This record amount will accelerate the clinical development of MATTISSE, a resorbable breast implant designed using 3D printing, aiming to make breast reconstruction after breast cancer more natural and simple.
According to the World Health Organization, there are 2 million new cases of breast cancer each year, making it the most common and deadliest form of cancer among women.
