WhatsApp to Introduce Per-Chat Storage Management
WhatsApp is developing a feature to let users manage storage on a per-chat basis, expanding its current storage management tools.
In the existing version, users can manage storage globally by going to Settings > Storage and Data > Manage Storage, where files and media can be browsed from every conversation.
A new "Manage Storage" option has been added to the chat info page in the latest WhatsApp beta, showing the storage taken up by each conversation.
As spotted by WaBetaInfo, the new section displays the storage usage for each conversation on the device.
This update aims to improve the current storage management capabilities, including the "Media, Links, and Docs" option within each chat's info page.
