SoCal Deputy Dies After Being Shot by Gunman
A Southern California freeway witnessed a violent crash on Monday afternoon, following a high-speed motorcycle chase.
The incident began with a domestic violence call in Rancho Cucamonga, where San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responded to an armed man threatening a woman.
Upon arrival, the deputies were fired upon, and Deputy Andrew Nunez suffered a single gunshot wound to the head.
Deputy Andrew Nunez was rushed to the hospital and ultimately pronounced dead, the sheriff's department confirmed.
The suspect led police on a wild motorcycle chase, which ended in a violent crash on the freeway.
