Scott Woods Keeps Peace While Touring
Scott Woods, one of Canada's finest fiddlers, wasn't "fiddling around" when he asked former musical collaborators to join him on his upcoming Christmas tour.
Woods met with Gary and Nadine Boles, fellow musicians from Fergus, Ont., in Florida earlier this year.
They are long retired and living the good life, travelling in the big motorhome, Woods said in a phone interview with The Sault Star.
Woods informed the couple that vocalist Naomi Bristow was unavailable for the tour due to recently giving birth, and their talents would be appreciated. However, the Boles didn't take Woods' request seriously at first.
The Christmas tour will include stops in Sault and Bruce Mines.
