Michael J. Fox has been living with the legacy of Back to the Future for a long time.
“I’ll be on the street and some kid will go, ‘There’s Marty McFly!’” Fox says. “No, this is an old man.”
For Fox, the film has been a part of his life since its release in 1985. He recalls being suddenly thrown into the lead role and the impact it had on his career.
Now, at 64, Fox looks back on the film and its iconic DeLorean, noting how it has become ‘more accessible’ with age.
In a recent interview via Zoom, Fox shared his thoughts on the film, saying
“Sometimes I look at it and think about my family,”and how his 37-year-old son wasn’t born yet when the film was released.
