DAYS Star Suzanne Rogers Opens Up About Cancer Diagnosis
Days of Our Lives star Suzanne Rogers, who plays Maggie Horton, revealed her cancer diagnosis and subsequent break from the show for treatment.
Rogers, a Daytime Emmy-winning actress, has been a part of the show since 1973 and took a leave after being diagnosed with cancer in the spring.
He said, ‘You have cancer and you have to start treatment.’ It was all a shock.
In an interview with TV Insider, Rogers shared that she sought medical attention after sensing something was off, despite having routine colonoscopies.
After a series of tests, including an MRI and PET scan, Rogers was diagnosed with Stage II colorectal cancer.
