Bugonia Review: A Satirical Fury
Yorgos Lanthimos's film Bugonia is a unique blend of corporate satire, eco-horror, and cosmic paranoia, featuring Emma Stone and Alicia Silverstone.
The movie tells the story of a deluded beekeeper, Teddy (Jesse Plemons), who kidnaps Michelle Fuller (Emma Stone), the CEO of a pesticide empire, believing it to be an alien plot to destroy humanity.

The film is a reimagining of the 2003 Korean cult film Save the Green Planet!, and it explores themes of accountability and the destruction of the planet.
