A'ja Wilson Leads Aces to WNBA Finals Sweep
Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson scored 31 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, leading her team to a 97-86 win over the Phoenix Mercury in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals.
The Aces swept the series, winning their third title in four seasons. Other notable contributors included Jackie Young with 18 points and 8 assists, Chelsea Gray with 18 points, Jewell Loyd with 12 points, and Dana Evans with 10 points.
The team made 12 3-pointers and committed only 7 turnovers, with Gray and Loyd each sinking 4 treys. Wilson, the league MVP, made 17 of 19 free throws, earning her second Finals MVP honor.
Wilson won her first Finals MVP award in 2023, the second of the Aces' two straight titles.
