An Avon & Somerset Police officer is facing allegations of breaching standards of professional behaviour.
PC Thomas West is the subject of a misconduct hearing, accused of breaching the standards of honesty and integrity and of discreditable conduct.
The hearing panel will be told that if the allegations are upheld, then they will “amount to gross misconduct”.
A misconduct hearing will be held at the force’s headquarters in Portishead, chaired by retired assistant chief constable Craig Holden.
