Six Flags America Closes Its Doors
Longtime visitors bid farewell to the Maryland location of Six Flags, a renowned amusement park chain with over 40 locations across North America.
The park's parent company announced its closure in May, marking the end of an era for the sole Maryland location.
"We will feel its loss," said Lise Bruneau, a Washington, D.C. resident. "I feel it already."
For Bruneau, Six Flags America holds sentimental value, being the place where she began taking her family 16 years ago and where her son learned to swim.
