The Singletrack Test Team has put various products through the mountain bike test.
The Kado is a full-power Bosch bike with 150mm rear travel, 160mm fork, 800Wh battery, and a full carbon frame.
Initially, the bike felt underpowered despite its weight of 24kg. The Fox 38 fork was not suitable for the author, who is a sub-80kg rider.
The author swapped the fork to a 160mm travel Fox 36, as the Fox 38's air spring was not effective in sucking up hits while retaining support.
I didn’t get along with the Fox 38 fork.
This review is based on the author's experience with the Whyte Kado and the fork swap.
Author's summary: The Whyte Kado is a powerful bike with some performance issues.
