World Premiere of 'The Witch of November' at Abbey Theater of Dublin
The Abbey Theater of Dublin presents the world premiere of 'The Witch of November', a play by Vidas Barzdukas, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald's tragic sinking.
Tickets are $25 per person and available at AbbeyTheaterofDublin.com for shows on Nov. 7, 8, 14, and 15 at 7 p.m.
- Based on the true story of the Edmund Fitzgerald, an American Great Lakes freighter that sank on Nov. 10, 1975, in Lake Superior.
- All 29 crew members lost their lives in the severe storm.
"We are excited to bring this world premiere play to life on the Abbey Theater stage,"says Joe Bishara, Abbey Theater of Dublin Supervisor.
The play follows Captain Ernest McSorley as he relives key moments of his life, observing the consequences of his career and what became of him and his wife's life together.
