The Edmonton Oilers faced a tough defeat as the New York Rangers rallied with two goals in the third period and earned the extra point in a 4-3 overtime victory on Thursday at Rogers Place.
Darnell Nurse scored twice and Matt Savoie registered his first NHL goal. However, this was not enough to secure the win for the Oilers.
