Fatal Semi Crash Closes I-70 in Summit County
A tragic early-morning crash left two adults and a child dead, shutting down westbound I-70 for most of Sunday.
According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the crash occurred near milepost 208 on westbound I-70 in Summit County, involving a single semi vehicle that crashed and caught fire.

- Extensive damage made it difficult to determine the number of people inside.
- CSP confirmed three people were inside the semi, all pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims included a 9-year-old girl from Jacksonville, Florida, and an adult male (39) and female (37) from Deming, New Mexico.
