Second Explosion Strikes Barendrecht Home
A home on Ruiterwei in Barendrecht was hit by a second explosion in less than a week, according to police.
The blast occurred early Sunday morning, damaging the front of the house, but caused no injuries. Authorities received the report shortly after 5:30 a.m.
Multiple people were inside the residence at the time, but no one was hurt. This incident follows an earlier explosion that shattered a window at the same house on Monday to Tuesday night.
“We are looking into both explosions,”
a spokesperson said, urging anyone with information to come forward. Police confirmed that both incidents are under investigation.
