The state has rested its case against Donna Adelson, marking the end of a week-long series of witness testimonies in her murder and conspiracy trial.
Chief Assistant State Attorney Georgia Cappleman announced the conclusion of the state's case, stating
“And with that, the State rests.”
Over the course of six days, prosecutors called 26 witnesses to the stand, including personal testimony from two of Donna's children and technical breakdowns of phone records and wiretapped phone calls.
The defense will begin its case on Tuesday morning.
