Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Accident
A Mountain Grove man was seriously injured Sunday night in an accident south of Lynchburg, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred when a southbound Chrysler Town and Country van, driven by a 27-year-old Lebanon woman, attempted to make a left turn into the path of a northbound 2000 Red Horse Motorworks motorcycle operated by the 61-year-old Mountain Grove man.
The motorcycle struck the right side of the van at Routes 95 and KK. The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
