U.S. Department of Education Faces Layoffs Due to Shutdown
The U.S. Department of Education will undergo a government-wide reduction in force, according to a spokesperson.

Russell Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, announced the layoffs on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, stating they would be "significant".
