Hoover fellow Dan Wang advocates for 'abundance'

Hoover fellow Dan Wang spoke at a well-attended session facilitated by Stanford Abundance and the Society for International Affairs.

During the session, Stanford Abundance co-president Victoria Ren '26 asked the audience, "Who here wants to own a house in their lifetime?" Almost everyone raised their hands.

"Not a ton of people at Stanford are necessarily thinking, I want to build something that is going to help my society,"

said Stanford Abundance co-president Shreya Mehta '26, highlighting the focus of the abundance movement.

Author and Hoover fellow Dan Wang shared insights into cultural work ethics and the abundance movement, leaving attendees with new perspectives on policy and its impact on people's lives.

The session, "America's Lawyers vs. China's Engineers," was attended by students of all majors and took place in Encina Hall.
