The Colorado Springs City Council approved a resolution honoring the U.S. Senate’s designation of October 14, 2025, as the National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA.
The resolution was introduced by Councilor Brandy Williams, who compared the assassination of Kirk to President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. before presenting a highlight reel of Kirk’s speeches.
