Thousands Sue Johnson & Johnson in UK Over Alleged Talcum Powder Cancer Risks

Johnson & Johnson and its consumer health arm, Kenvue, are being sued in the UK over possible cancer risks from their talcum powder.

Thousands of people in the UK are taking legal action against Johnson and Johnson (J&J), accusing the firm of knowingly selling talcum powder contaminated with asbestos.

A lawsuit has been filed by KP Law at the High Court in London seeking damages against the pharmaceutical giant, including Kenvue UK, which was split from J&J in 2023 and now operates as a separate business.

Both minerals, when in their fibrous form, are classified as asbestos and linked to potentially deadly cancers.
