Bucks' Apparent Stance on Tyler Smith
The Milwaukee Bucks seem inclined to cut Tyler Smith ahead of opening night, ending his time with the team one year after drafting him.
Smith's last game in a Milwaukee Bucks jersey may have been against the Pistons last Thursday. If so, the franchise would yet again ditch a promising draft pick after one season.
There's good reason to believe they will cut him, as his preseason minutes decreased significantly, from 13 in the first game to none in the last two contests.
Before training camp, Smith seemed like a decent bet to make the roster, given his solid performance in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd and his potential as a floor spacing big with impressive athleticism at just 20 years old.
He didn't do much as a rookie, but then again, the Bucks didn't give him much of a chance.
