Actions to Improve Care for Women, Babies, and Families: Next Steps
NHS England outlines the next steps to support improvement in maternity and neonatal care across four key areas.
A letter was sent in June following the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care's announcement of a rapid independent investigation into maternity and neonatal services, an independent taskforce, and immediate actions to improve care.
This work has been progressed with involvement from colleagues in trusts, maternity and neonatal service teams, as well as service users and regulatory partners.
Further information on each of the four areas is provided in the annexes, and feedback and suggestions for further support are welcome.
