Tragedy in Staffordshire: Two Children Die at Home
A murder arrest has been made after two children died at a home in Staffordshire.
A resident, Luke Browne, 61, who owns a book shop and lives nearby, described the scene as he left for work on Sunday morning.
“Children dying is a horror”, “It’s very sad. It’s quite painful to hear it.”
He also mentioned that despite only living in the area for a year, everyone he has met has been lovely.
The West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that two ambulances and two paramedics were sent to the scene after 7:25 am.
"On arrival of ambulance staff we discovered two patients, both children. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save them and they were confirmed dead at the scene."
A spokesman for the ambulance service provided this statement.
