Man Sues Over Arrest for Playing Darth Vader Music at National Guard
A man was arrested for playing "The Imperial March" from Star Wars while following National Guard troops.
Sam O'Hara, 35, was walking in the Logan Circle neighborhood when he spotted the troops and started playing the music from his phone.
"The Imperial March" is Darth Vader's theme song in the Star Wars films.
O'Hara was threatened by Sgt. Devon Beck to stop playing the music, but he refused, leading to his arrest.
With the help of the ACLU, O'Hara is now suing, claiming his First and Fourth Amendment rights were violated.
The lawsuit is a peaceful protest case with Star Wars jokes.
