Electoral Reactivation of Provincial Councils

My late friend and comrade Kethesh Loganathan, son of a famous banker and a Georgetown alumnus, noted that the key motif of the Sri Lankan tragedy is "Lost Opportunities".

He named his book 'Lost Opportunities', because that’s what he saw as the key motif of the Sri Lankan tragedy.

Kethesh Loganathan was a theoretician of the Marxist-led EPRLF and Deputy Head of the Peace Secretariat (SCOPP) before being assassinated by the LTTE.

Historical events, such as JR's promise of an ethnic Roundtable in 1977, which was only convened in 1984, and SWRD's failure to implement the B-C Pact after the Sinhala Only Act in 1956, are cited as examples of missed opportunities.

The question remains, when will AKD hold PC elections?

Author's summary: Electoral reactivation of provincial councils is urgent.
