Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly expressed his gratitude to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and US President Donald Trump for their efforts to end the war in Gaza.
"In coordination with mediation partners, led by the US, Qatar, and Turkey, Egypt has achieved great success in reaching a peace agreement and ending the war in the Gaza Strip, putting an end to the humanitarian suffering endured by Palestinian brethren in Gaza for two years,"
Madbouly said during a news conference. He also recalled President Sisi's statement:
"we will not accept, no matter what pressures and suffering we face, the liquidation of the Palestinian cause by displacing our Palestinian brothers from their homeland."Author's summary: Egypt achieves success in Gaza peace agreement.
