Boeing received two contracts from the U.S. Army, worth $461 million, for nine CH-47F Block II Chinook helicopters, covering Lots 4 and 5.
Boeing is working closely with the Army on a path forward for Lot 6 and has delivered six CH-47F Block II helicopters so far, which are undergoing evaluations to demonstrate their enhanced capabilities.
Boeing delivered the first production CH-47F Block II aircraft in June 2024, followed by the second in September.
