Princeton University Art Museum Expands to New Home

The Princeton University Art Museum (PUAM) in New Jersey is opening a new 146,000-sq.-ft facility, doubling the size of its former space.

The new museum will display more of its collection of 117,000 works, including newly commissioned sculptures and installations.

The original building was constructed in the 1880s and demolished in 2021, with the vision for a new museum beginning years ago, following the completion of the previous museum’s last wing in 1980.
