18th International Symposium on Translational Research in Oncology
The 18th International Symposium on Translational Research in Oncology was held at the Herbert Park Hotel in Dublin from September 24-26, 2025.
More than 35 internationally renowned speakers, including DCU researcher Denis Collins, UCLA and Harvard Medical School experts, attended the event organised by the Cancer Clinical Research Trust and DCU.
The symposium featured presentations from notable experts, including:
- Dr. Slamon, 2019 Lasker Award winner and Director of Clinical/Translational Research at UCLA
- Dr. Douglas Hanahan, 2025 winner of the Pezcoller Foundation–AACR International Award for Extraordinary Achievement in Cancer Research
DCU Chair of Translational Oncology Prof John Crown opened the proceedings.
