Plane Crash Northwest of Fort Worth
A plane crash has occurred near Hicks Airfield, just off of Business 287 in Tarrant County, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.
- The crash happened in the 12000 block of N. Saginaw Blvd., near Avondale around 1:30 p.m.
- Multiple semi-trucks are on fire, but the exact number is unknown.
- The FAA and NTSB have been notified, and Business 287 is shut down for both north and southbound traffic.
Motorists are urged to use a different route and avoid the area. There is no word on injuries yet, and officials have not released information on the number of people aboard.
