Samsung and Nvidia Partner to Build AI Megafactory
Samsung has joined forces with Nvidia to build an AI megafactory, marking a "new age" of AI-driven manufacturing.
The partnership, announced after a meeting between Samsung Electronics chairman Jay Y. Lee and Nvidia boss Jensen Huang, will see Nvidia's chips embedded across Samsung's entire production chain.
- More than 50,000 Nvidia GPUs will be used in the megafactory.
- The GPUs will be spread throughout Samsung's operations, including smartphone and semiconductor development, and robotics.
