Waterloo Man Charged After Firing Shotgun Within Village Limits

A 52-year-old local man, Shawn J. Sweeney, was charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm on Saturday morning.

According to the Waterloo Police Department, Sweeney fired two shotgun rounds while duck hunting on the canal inside the Village of Waterloo, using a 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun.
