Four Corners Executive Producer Resigns
Matthew Carney, executive producer of Four Corners since 2022, has resigned.
Carney will remain in his position until a successor is appointed, according to ABC News boss Justin Stevens.

- Executive producer of Four Corners since May 2022
- Previously executive producer of Foreign Correspondent and China bureau chief
- Winner of three Walkley Awards
The resignation is unrelated to an investigation into reporter Mahmood Fazal,
ABC said.
The final Four Corners program for 2025 aired with 575,000 viewers, and the show is nominated for the 2025 Walkley Awards.
