Man's Fatal Collision: Speed and Seatbelt Factors Revealed

A 32-year-old driver, Jacob Neighbour, died after colliding with a telegraph pole and a tree at 69mph near Ross-on-Wye.

At Hereford Coroner’s Court, it was revealed that Neighbour was not wearing a seatbelt while traveling to work in his Toyota Yaris.

For reasons that remain unknown, his vehicle has left the road, firstly demolishing a wooden telegraph pole prior to striking a substantial tree, causing significant damage to his vehicle. He was traveling at 69mph, in excess of the speed limit.
