From Behind Bars: Lubbock Inmate Caught Peddling Meth Via Cell Phone
A Lubbock man, Ronnie Garcia, was caught attempting to sell illegal drugs from inside prison walls using a hidden cell phone.
Garcia, 33, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2021 after pleading guilty to his role in a massive cocaine trafficking ring.
- 16,300 grams of methamphetamine were discovered at his home.
- Over 8,000 blue fentanyl pills were seized.
- About three pounds of marijuana were found.
- Over $13,700 in cash tied to the trafficking was confiscated.
Garcia now faces an additional 405 months behind bars.
