PE-backed Law Firm Expands Referral Network
A West Midlands law firm, acquired by a private equity house last year, is expanding its referral service for smaller firms across the country.
Unique Referral Service
Blake Thomas, Business Development Director at FBC Manby Bowdler, believes Hub.Legal is unique because member firms both refer work and receive referrals.
Small firms will still be in demand
FBC was bought by private equity firm Horizon Capital in November 2024 and became the founding member of the Adeptio Law Group.
Expansion Plans
Neil Lloyd, Chief Executive of FBC, aims to double the group's size in a year. FBC, with 35 partners and over 200 staff, launched Hub.Legal in 2014.
