Michael J Fox on His Preferred Way to Pass Away
Hollywood actor Michael J Fox, 64, has been battling Parkinson’s disease since his late 20s.
“There’s no timeline [with Parkinson’s disease], there’s no series of stages that you go through – not in the same way that you would, say, with prostate cancer. It’s much more mysterious and enigmatic,”
He hopes to pass away in his sleep rather than suffering a fatal injury from a fall.
“I’d like to just not wake up one day. I don’t want it to be dramatic. I don’t want to trip over furniture, smash my head.”
Michael J Fox also joked about not having time to think about dying:
“That’s another thing too, about dying. I just haven’t had time”
